Medical Assistance in Dying

Are you prepared?

The legalization of medical assistance in dying (MAiD) is the most profound change in medical practice in modern times. It is expected that more and more Canadians will ask about MAiD and we can prepare you for that conversation with our comprehensive educational offerings.

Regardless of your position on MAiD, the CMA and Joule are committed to providing a balanced curriculum to help you best serve your patients.

Foundational online module

Having a good grasp of the ethical issues surrounding MAiD and a clear understanding of your own stance on the topic will help you have informed, objective and empathetic conversations with your patients. This module is of benefit to all practicing physicians.
